Hey, I’m Nicaela Emily!
I’m a British wedding photographer & wedding day professional. I’ve been living in Austria the last 15 years and Yes, I speak German too!
I have 10 years of experience in the wedding industry and have documented over 400 weddings worldwide that range from intimate elopements to multi day celebrations.
Now and throughout the year I'm based in Salzburg Austria but travel regularly for work as a destination wedding photographer. I’ve shot weddings in Mexico, Seychelles, USA, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Bali, England, Santorini, France and Italy.
Fuelled by a passion for love, aesthetics, and exploration, I find great joy in my profession as a documentary wedding photographer. I love sharing new experiences with my clients and capturing the beauty I see in everyone. I know my style isn’t for everybody; I see that as a positive thing. But for those that feel it is, I would love to chat :)
MY APPROACH on your wedding day
I’m a documentary wedding photographer which means I like to take a "fly on the wall" approach and aim to deliver natural, "in the moment" candid images in a documentary style. I don’t do the whole ‘look at the camera and say cheese’ that's definitely not my thing.
I provide value outside of my photography as well, in terms of my organised, calming and fun presence.
I have an exceptional ability to read the room, I know when to step forward with warmth and guidance, and when to gracefully blend into the background, earning praise from my clients and guests alike. Most saying I seamlessly blend in like a guest.
I'll tell the story of your day through my photos, from all the special moments you remember to all the bits you may have missed. encapsulating the emotions, connections, and laughter, turning your wedding day into memorable pieces and timeless art.
